Description

  • Own the analytics and data ecosystem end to end, including data ingestion, modeling, maintenance, and delivery.
  • Partner with Data Platform and IT teams to ingest data from source systems such as HRIS, ATS, and Identity.
  • Build and maintain the middle data layer, including canonical models and semantic layers.
  • Implement dbt transformations, tests, lineage, and data contracts for ELT workflows.
  • Leverage Claude Code and other GenAI tools to accelerate full-stack development across data and application layers.
  • Create interactive dashboards and UI visuals that translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives.
  • Analyze complex datasets to identify trends and perform root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to refine and iterate key performance indicators.
  • Implement privacy-by-design practices, including PII minimization and role-based access control (RBAC).
  • Design, build, and optimize data pipelines, ETL processes, and CI/CD workflows.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as an Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer, or in a related field delivering production-grade data models and durable data products.
  • Expert SQL skills.
  • Deep experience with dbt and dimensional or event-temporal modeling.
  • Demonstrated experience using Claude Code and other generative AI tools to accelerate full-stack development, data modeling, and UI creation.
  • Hands-on experience with a cloud data warehouse such as Snowflake or BigQuery.
  • Experience with an orchestrator such as Dagster, Prefect, or Airflow.
  • Proficiency in Python or R for data transformations, statistical analysis, and automation.
  • Strong communication skills with a track record of translating analytical findings into actionable business insights.
  • Advanced degree in Statistics, Data Science, Psychology, Economics, or a related quantitative field preferred.
  • Experience integrating HRIS, ATS, payroll, or identity sources and hardening metrics for executive-level decisions preferred.
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA, and ethical considerations in analytics preferred.
  • Experience building full-stack web applications and polished UIs to surface data insights preferred.
  • Experience with security and systems that handle sensitive data preferred.
