Description

  • Lead regional and central service line leaders to drive quality and growth across the Safety Net service line.
  • Manage Directors and Program Managers, including strategic initiatives, hiring, training, operational protocols, and budgeting.
  • Run all-hands meetings and maintain strong connection to frontline teams and patient needs.
  • Build systems and relationships to address field barriers and improve staff and patient satisfaction.
  • Partner with clinical leadership to deliver high-quality care and expand the use of technology in service delivery.
  • Set and hit growth and financial targets, including patient volume, staff productivity, hiring, and margin.
  • Design and oversee workflows, processes, and protocols that scale quality and performance across California.
  • Use dashboards, variance reviews, and action plans to coach leaders and improve outcomes.
  • Build and manage relationships with Community Based Organization partners to expand service reach and open new markets.
  • Lead health plan-facing meetings, manage grievances and CAPs, and ensure compliance and audit readiness.

Requirements

  • 10+ years leading teams in healthcare, social services, or adjacent safety-net settings.
  • 4+ years managing managers.
  • Deep familiarity with Medi-Cal, CalAIM ECM, and Community Supports.
  • Experience with field-based care for people experiencing homelessness, SMI/SUD, justice-involved, or medically complex adults.
  • Demonstrated ability to build scalable protocols, workflows, and processes for large teams.
  • Strong data-driven operating mindset with experience setting goals and improving performance.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build trust with staff, health plans, and community partners.
  • Health-plan, compliance, and health policy familiarity.
  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Public Health, or a related field preferred.
  • SUD/harm-reduction training or clinical licensure (MD, DO, PA, NP, LCSW, LSW, RN) is a plus.
  • Comfortable spending significant time in the field.
