Description

Assist in building and configuring Checkout Champ funnels under senior developer direction.
Implement upsell, downsell, order bump, and post-purchase sequences.
Support payment gateway configuration and troubleshoot checkout flow errors.
Test checkout flows across devices, browsers, and payment methods and document findings.
Assist with subscription and rebill logic setup.
Customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, and CSS.
Implement front-end changes for product pages, landing pages, and checkout flows.
Debug display and functional issues across storefronts.
Support API integration work and third-party app configuration.
Assist with pixel and tracking setup, including Meta, Google, and native platform events.
Document builds, component logic, and processes as you work.
Review release notes and flag relevant Checkout Champ and Shopify changes.

Requirements

1–2 years of hands-on experience with Checkout Champ, including at least one live funnel.
Solid Shopify fundamentals, including Liquid, theme customization, and Shopify admin.
Working knowledge of JavaScript and basic front-end development with HTML and CSS.
Understanding of conversion funnels and how each step affects performance.
Strong attention to detail, including testing your own work before marking it complete.
Clear written communication for an async-first, remote environment.
Self-directed learning habits, including reading documentation and testing independently.
Open to feedback and willing to improve quickly.
Portfolio is mandatory, with at least one Checkout Champ funnel example and one Shopify project example.
Preferred experience with post-purchase upsell apps such as ReConvert or Zipify.
Preferred familiarity with subscription platforms such as Recharge, Bold Subscriptions, or Checkout Champ rebill flows.
Preferred exposure to media buying workflows and basic conversion rate optimization principles.
Preferred experience with API integrations, including webhook or Zapier flows.
