Description

  • Lead project execution across the full software development lifecycle, from technical design through implementation, testing, and deployment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to understand business problems and develop solutions.
  • Work with global technical leaders to build and evolve Community Support engineering foundations such as routing, data platforms, case management, and foundational tooling.
  • Drive technical discussions and align engineering decisions with broader CS technical strategies.
  • Tackle complex technical challenges and proactively identify and mitigate delivery risks.
  • Write high-quality code and design documents that set standards for the team.
  • Advocate for and embed engineering best practices and a culture of technical excellence.
  • Coach and mentor engineers on the CSP China team to support growth and capability development.
  • Participate in recruiting efforts and conduct interviews to support team growth.
  • Promote an inclusive, communicative, and quality-focused engineering culture.

Requirements

  • 9+ years of software development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in at least one major backend programming language such as Java, Kotlin, Scala, or Python.
  • Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js is preferred.
  • Proven track record of delivering end-to-end products in a globally collaborative environment.
  • Experience with architectural patterns for large-scale web applications, including well-designed APIs, high-volume data pipelines, and efficient algorithms.
  • Demonstrated ability to make data-driven decisions and articulate technical trade-offs.
  • Strong communication skills for working effectively with cross-functional partners.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Fluency in both English and Chinese.
  • Must be physically based in China.
  • Experience with modern front-end frameworks is preferred but not required.
