Description

  • Partner with PM, Design, DS, QA, and global engineering teams to translate product requirements into technical solutions and shape the roadmap.
  • Write and review technical designs for large, open-ended problems spanning market-specific features and mobile infrastructure.
  • Develop clean, testable, and maintainable Swift code to deliver polished user experiences.
  • Build and optimize locale-aware UI, market-specific features, and integrations for diverse global conditions.
  • Work across the full product surface, including signup/login, search, PDP, checkout, reviews, maps, networking, and logging.
  • Mentor other engineers through pairing, code reviews, and technical guidance.
  • Lead technical initiatives and drive end-to-end project delivery as a tech lead.
  • Communicate project progress to stakeholders and own quality across the full release cycle.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of iOS development experience.
  • Proficiency in Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, and Core Animation/Core Graphics.
  • Experience applying AI-powered development tools such as Claude Code or Codex across design, coding, debugging, review, and documentation workflows.
  • Strong product sense and the ability to build pixel-perfect interfaces and fluid animations.
  • Proven experience leading technical initiatives and working through ambiguous problems.
  • Strong cross-team collaboration skills and excellent English communication.
  • Experience working in globally distributed teams or building products for diverse markets is a plus.
  • China-based remote eligibility; no visa support is provided.
  • Occasional work from an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites may be required, as agreed with the manager.
