Description

Perform investigations of security incidents using digital forensics and data analytics.
Use coding, data analytics, and investigation methods to hunt for, detect, and respond to threats.
Build automation and detection models to identify anomalous activity and support response at scale.
Proactively hunt for threats in corporate and production environments.
Work with engineering teams to design advanced detection solutions that protect systems and information.
Identify infrastructure visibility gaps and partner with business teams to improve logging and detection.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners such as Legal, Privacy, and Engineering to support efficient incident response.
Use learnings and root cause analysis from investigations to improve security and remove classes of problems.

Requirements

2+ years of hands-on experience in security operations, including investigations, incident response, incident management, digital forensics, threat intelligence, threat hunting, or detection engineering.
Proficiency in Python or another scripting language.
Frequent use of SQL and Pandas.
Familiarity with Elasticsearch preferred.
Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS preferred.
Knowledge of the Cyber Kill Chain Framework and MITRE ATT&CK Framework.
Experience automating security detection and response.
Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
Ability to lead through influence in complex, ambiguous situations.
Strong organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
Ability to stay calm and collaborate effectively in high-stress situations.

Benefits

Base pay range of $162,000 to $186,000 USD.
Eligible for bonus.
Eligible for equity.
Eligible for benefits.
Eligible for Employee Travel Credits.
US remote eligible.
Occasional work from an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites may be required.
