Description

  • Build, maintain, and scale automated test infrastructure for Airalo’s web applications using Playwright.
  • Participate in the mobile QA rotation and own testing for native iOS and Android applications.
  • Execute mobile regressions and debug or maintain Maestro automation tests.
  • Own product quality across the full software development lifecycle, from initial design through release and post-launch monitoring.
  • Define test strategy and validate releases to ensure a stable user experience.
  • Partner with growth and marketing stakeholders to safely test rapid product experiments.
  • Embed automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines and troubleshoot workflows, environments, and containerized test setups.
  • Contribute to the QA Guild by sharing ideas, improving engineering practices, and tracking quality metrics.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional Quality Assurance experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in automation engineering within a product-driven scale-up or collaborative tech environment.
  • Strong technical proficiency in JavaScript.
  • Hands-on experience with modern web testing tools, ideally Playwright or similar tools such as Cypress.
  • Strong hands-on experience with manual and automated testing for native iOS and Android applications.
  • Ability to handle mobile regressions and debug or maintain Maestro tests.
  • Solid understanding of client-server architectures, HTTP/HTTPS protocols, API testing, and performance/load testing tools such as k6 or Gatling.
  • Experience using GenAI tools such as Copilot or Claude Code to improve daily workflow, with interest in AI agents or mentoring peers on AI use.
  • Strong communication skills in English and the ability to collaborate across multiple disciplines.
  • Must already reside in and be fully eligible to work in either Spain or the UK.
  • Preferred: experience working within a QA Guild structure and familiarity with JIRA.
  • Preferred: prior engineering knowledge of telecom, eSIM, or GSMA technologies and services.
