Description

  • Tear apart APKs and native libraries to identify vulnerabilities, logic bombs, and covert payloads.
  • Use Frida, Ghidra, IDA Pro, JADX, and related tools to uncover hidden internals and insecure behavior.
  • Break obfuscation, fingerprint malware, and reverse custom protocols.
  • Analyze Java/Kotlin and native C/C++ code using both static and runtime techniques.
  • Design anti-tamper and anti-reversing controls to resist analysis and exploitation.
  • Guide development teams toward secure-by-default application design.
  • Track Android threat actors and emerging zero-day techniques.
  • Produce clear, actionable reports on findings and attacker behavior.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in deep Android reverse engineering, mobile app hacking, or security research, or a Master’s degree with substantial project experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Android internals, including ART/Dalvik, Zygote, and Binder.
  • Hands-on experience with Frida, Ghidra, APKTool, Dex2Jar, Magisk modules, Xposed, or similar tools.
  • Solid programming ability in Java/Kotlin and native C/C++, with ARM assembly considered a plus.
  • Familiarity with obfuscation frameworks such as DexGuard and ProGuard.
  • Strong understanding of threat modeling, exploit chains, and mobile malware operations.
  • Knowledge of OWASP Mobile Top 10.
  • Greek residency is required for this position.
  • Preferred: Prior experience dropping 0-days or building open-source security tools.
  • Preferred: OSCP, OSCE, or similar hard-earned security certifications.
  • Preferred: Speaking experience at DEF CON, Black Hat, or through impactful technical blogs.
