Description

  • Build, operationalize, and monitor data processing systems.
  • Create automated pipelines to ingest and process structured and unstructured data into analytical platforms using batch and streaming methods.
  • Implement custom streaming applications using cloud-native tools such as Kinesis and Lambda.
  • Design, support, and maintain data structures including SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Develop and maintain ELT processes for loading data into data lakes and warehousing platforms such as Snowflake, Cloud Storage, and Hadoop.
  • Deliver testable, maintainable, and modern data solutions using the appropriate tools for each use case.
  • Respond to customer and team inquiries and help troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with scrum team members to estimate and deliver sprint work.
  • Research data questions, identify root causes, and work closely with business users and technical resources.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional technical experience.
  • 3+ years of hands-on DBT experience.
  • 3+ years of hands-on data warehousing experience.
  • 3+ years of experience building highly scalable data solutions using Hadoop, Spark, Databricks, or Snowflake.
  • 2+ years of programming experience in Python or a similar language.
  • 3+ years of experience working in cloud environments, specifically Azure.
  • 2 years of experience with Redshift.
  • Strong client-facing communication and facilitation skills.
  • Experience with SQL/RDBMS, NoSQL, ETL/ELT, Git, OLAP, and related data engineering tools and concepts.
  • Preferred: exposure to cloud-native streaming and data lake technologies.
