Description

  • Lead the development of new features, technical initiatives, experiments, and complex backend systems.
  • Act as a technical architect and mentor to help guide teams toward effective engineering solutions.
  • Continuously improve system architecture to build more scalable and reliable software.
  • Strengthen Agile and Scrum engineering practices within the team.
  • Collaborate with backend, client, server, and infrastructure engineers to deliver technical solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve products, code quality, system design, and development workflows.
  • Write clean, efficient, high-quality code and support others in doing the same.
  • Drive key technical decisions across the organization.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience building performance-critical applications in production using Scala, Java, or C#.
  • Proven experience leading projects, technical initiatives, or engineering teams with full ownership of delivered systems.
  • Experience working with data platforms such as SQL, Cassandra, or Hadoop.
  • Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
  • Excellent software development and coding skills.
  • Passion for software engineering craftsmanship and continuous learning.
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies (preferred).
  • Experience building large-scale distributed products (preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with Git, TeamCity, Puppet, Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, MSMQ, Spark, Hadoop, Cassandra, MongoDB, Play framework, or Akka (preferred).
