Description

  • Project manage and implement company-wide strategic initiatives for the Finance team.
  • Assess the impact of new initiatives on finance functions such as accounting, tax, operations, treasury, commercial, financial systems, and risk and control.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements, optimize processes and workflows, and manage trade-offs as priorities change.
  • Maintain regular communication and alignment between project teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Represent Finance in cross-functional forums and influence product and business roadmaps to include finance requirements.
  • Track project milestones, identify risks, troubleshoot issues, and propose mitigation plans.
  • Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Support smooth go-lives and resolve post-launch issues promptly.
  • Lead process integration and automation efforts to streamline financial processes across teams.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of finance project management experience, ideally with exposure to tax-related projects.
  • Experience in the tech industry or e-commerce, with finance operations and business analysis experience preferred.
  • Extensive stakeholder management experience and the ability to influence others.
  • Demonstrated experience leading process integration, reorganization, or transformation initiatives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or another field; professional accounting qualifications are also acceptable.
  • Ability to thrive in a multicultural, high-intensity environment with uncertainty and experimentation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, influencing, and change management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, planning, and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail, strong sense of urgency, and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Indirect tax project management experience is a plus.
  • Experience with finance tools and processes, including some accounting and reporting knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience working closely with Product and IT is a plus.
  • Experience across finance cross-functions such as accounting, operations, treasury, FP&A, and financial systems is a plus.
