Description

  • Define, design, develop, validate, and deliver first-in-market technology-enabled capabilities.
  • Provide solution architecture and technical guidance for distributed and complex software and hardware problems.
  • Conduct research and analyze, structure, build, test, implement, and maintain software solutions.
  • Develop comprehensive architectures that address current needs and future scalability.
  • Clarify requirements by challenging assumptions, removing ambiguities, and identifying underlying problems.
  • Produce detailed functional and technical documentation for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Design software systems to be extensible, maintainable, and suitable for long-term use.
  • Design and test prototypes, proofs of technology, and proofs of concept.
  • Support early adopter customers and help transition capabilities to other teams as they mature.
  • Mentor junior engineers and serve in subject matter expert roles as needed.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of related experience preferred.
  • 3+ years of technical lead experience.
  • Hands-on background in software development, software and systems architecture, and systems programming.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with systems architecture, specification, design, and large-scale transactional integrated systems.
  • Prior experience on Agile, XP, or fast-delivery teams.
  • Experience with cloud-native architecture and support on AWS, Azure, or GCP, with a focus on serverless technologies.
  • Experience with event-driven technologies such as EventBridge, Kinesis, and SQS.
  • Experience designing and implementing highly available systems with 99.99 SLA.
  • Expertise with Git and Git workflows.
  • Comfort working across frontend, backend, database, and SDLC tooling.
  • Experience creating Generative AI-powered applications while minimizing hallucinations and related issues (SE4AI).
  • Experience using Generative AI tooling to improve developer productivity while preserving developer skills and system understanding (AI4SE).
  • Preferred experience developing frontend SPA and backend API applications.
  • Preferred experience with P/IAAS on cloud platforms such as AWS Lambda and AWS Fargate.
  • Preferred experience with logging tools and aggregators such as Datadog and Splunk.
  • Preferred experience with ORM/ODM tools such as SQLAlchemy and PynamoDB.
  • Preferred experience building CI/CD automation pipelines to eliminate manual deployment processes.
  • Preferred experience with machine learning model training, workflows, and real-time prediction exposure.
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; no visa sponsorship is available now or in the future.
