Description

  • Break down larger projects into smaller tasks and deliver them in multiple phases with team support.
  • Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics during ideation and product decisions.
  • Articulate technical constraints, risks, and trade-offs to support product development.
  • Monitor system metrics and support the operations and availability of team-owned artifacts.
  • Escalate issues when needed and participate in on-call and keep-the-lights-on support.
  • Contribute to team growth by participating in the interview process.
  • Own execution across multiple software components to help solve customer-facing problems.

Requirements

  • 1.5+ years of experience as a software engineer.
  • Experience shipping web applications using declarative UI frameworks such as React or Vue.
  • Experience designing, developing, and launching APIs at scale using languages such as Python or Kotlin.
  • Ability to turn simple business problems into solutions that span multiple software components.
  • Ability to write clear, well-tested, and extensible code.
  • Comfort navigating a large codebase, debugging other engineers' code, and giving feedback in code reviews.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with a global engineering team.
  • Demonstrated ownership of personal growth and a proactive approach to seeking feedback.
