Description

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 6–10 product managers, including people managers.
  • Define the multi-year product strategy for Loans Lifecycle and Money Movement and translate it into executable roadmaps.
  • Serve as the executive-level domain authority on loan lifecycle mechanics, payment rails, settlement flows, and institutional transfers.
  • Partner with Engineering, Accounting, Treasury, Capital Markets, Legal, Compliance, and Client Success to align priorities and decisions.
  • Architect platform strategies that improve scalability, standardize loan behaviors, and support expansion into new geographies and product lines.
  • Define and track platform health metrics such as settlement success rates, reconciliation coverage, exception volumes, and time-to-resolution.
  • Present strategy, tradeoffs, and priorities to senior leadership and influence organizational investment decisions.
  • Build a culture of ownership, rigor, candor, and strong delivery across the product organization.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of product management experience.
  • 3–5+ years managing and developing product management teams, including people managers.
  • Deep experience in loans or lending systems, including loan lifecycle mechanics, loan servicing architecture, and related compliance and operational requirements.
  • Meaningful experience in money movement, payments infrastructure, or financial operations.
  • Experience in fintech, financial services, or banking.
  • Familiarity with BNPL, platform products, or backend infrastructure is strongly preferred.
  • Capital markets experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to set and execute long-term platform strategy in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
  • Strong technical fluency, including comfort discussing data models and APIs with engineers.
  • Proficiency with AI-assisted tools such as Claude and Cursor.
  • Track record of building and scaling distributed, high-performing PM teams across multiple domains.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and crisp, data-driven communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.

  • Base salary of $300,000–$360,000 per year for CA, WA, NY, NJ, and CT roles, or $267,000–$327,000 per year for other U.S. states.
