Description

  • Perform as the team mascot during home games, including high-energy interactions, skits, and in-game promotions.
  • Represent the organization at schools, charity events, sponsor activations, and media opportunities.
  • Engage fans of all ages through photos, autographs, crowd work, and improvisational moments.
  • Maintain character integrity, body language, and personality consistent with brand guidelines.
  • Clean, maintain, and store the mascot costume, and report needed repairs or replacements.
  • Participate in rehearsals, develop new routines, and collaborate with Game Presentation staff on creative content.
  • Navigate crowds safely, manage high-traffic areas, and adjust performances based on the environment and audience.
  • Uphold organizational values, professionalism, and confidentiality at all times.
  • Work closely with Game Presentation, Marketing, Partnership, and Community Relations teams.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-4 years of mascot experience in college or professional settings.
  • Ability to deliver high-energy, engaging character performances aligned with brand expectations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with guests of all ages.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs unassisted.
  • Ability to work in heat inside a full-body costume and stand or walk for extended periods of up to 3 hours.
  • Ability to develop new skits, comedic moments, and fan engagement ideas.
  • Strong awareness of surroundings, crowd dynamics, and safety considerations.
  • Reliability, confidentiality, and the ability to represent the organization positively.
  • Proficient in social media, preferred.
  • Ability to work without work visa sponsorship.

Benefits

  • Hourly pay of $50.00.
  • No bonus eligibility under the current bonus plan.
  • Part-time position may be eligible for benefits under ACA qualification.
