Description

  • Direct and oversee all facility operations, including daily planning, staffing, scheduling, and event coordination.
  • Conduct post-event operational and financial reviews to evaluate performance and identify improvements.
  • Evaluate and improve policies and procedures to increase efficiency, safety, and overall venue performance.
  • Lead staffing functions including recruitment, hiring, training, supervision, performance evaluation, and succession planning.
  • Manage cross-functional meetings focused on operations, financial results, and staff training.
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors, contractors, sponsors, and strategic partners, including contract negotiation and performance oversight.
  • Develop the annual operating calendar, programming strategy, hours of operation, and attendance and revenue projections.
  • Create, implement, and monitor operating budgets and cost controls for venue operations and events.
  • Develop community engagement and partnership strategies, and represent the organization at public events and with local stakeholders.
  • Lead pre-opening readiness and transition from construction to operations, including staffing, vendor contracts, budgets, and operational protocols.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in a related field.
  • 10+ years of related work experience.
  • Experience overseeing a physical venue.
  • Experience in management, leadership, and conflict resolution.
  • Proven management experience and exceptional leadership abilities.
  • Proven track record of developing and managing budgets.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written, listening, and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative, detail-oriented, and outgoing personality.
  • Knowledge of the music industry preferred.
  • Work visa sponsorship is not offered for this position.

  • Annual base pay of $91,000 to $152,000.
