Description

  • Manage the daily activities of the data analysis team supporting data warehouse systems and projects.
  • Provide leadership across the full lifecycle of data warehouse projects, from planning and design through implementation and support.
  • Supervise Data Warehouse Analysts and Database Administrators, balancing workloads and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Establish and maintain auditing processes to ensure data accuracy and quality across data warehouses.
  • Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions for reporting and analytics.
  • Develop, create, and modify dashboards, reports, KPIs, and advanced analytics to support decision-making.
  • Provide on-call support and resolve data reporting and database-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Offer technical advice, assistance, and training to users on data reporting tools and workflows.
  • Document standard operating procedures, troubleshooting guides, and technical documentation for the team.
  • Ensure best practices for data management, storage, and retrieval are followed across projects.

Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of data warehousing and business intelligence technologies, including Power BI and SQL querying.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain complex dashboards, reports, and alerts.
  • Ability to create requirement specifications, technical designs, and user training documents.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience managing and mentoring team members.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and SLAs.
  • Strong customer service orientation and responsiveness to user support needs.
  • Commitment to staying current on industry trends and new technologies in data analytics and BI.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field required; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 7+ years of experience in a data-focused technology role with heavy exposure to SQL Server databases and Power BI or similar tools.
  • Previous supervisory or management experience required.
