Description

  • Conduct welcome calls and manage claimant communication by phone, SMS, and email.
  • File appeals and take action on claims that need attention.
  • Monitor a large caseload and keep cases moving through the process.
  • Provide empathetic, high-quality support to claimants throughout their cases.
  • Proactively communicate case progress and next steps to claimants.
  • Collaborate with SSA/DDS to resolve case-related issues and avoid delays.
  • Use internal technology to support claimants through application and adjudication workflows.
  • Provide feedback to improve technology and operations.
  • Identify challenges proactively and recommend solutions.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of SSDI/SSI case management experience.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle a large caseload.
  • Thorough knowledge of the Social Security disability process.
  • Familiarity with DDS/SSA forms.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Preference for experience in a small startup environment with high ownership and responsibility.
  • Ability to adapt quickly, pivot processes, and adopt new ways of working.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or a similar CRM.
  • Desire to help transform the disability application and adjudication process.
