Description

  • Work closely with data engineers and data scientists to implement strategic engineering proof of concepts and contribute to technology strategy and engineering roadmaps.
  • Partner with clients and internal teams to identify and execute opportunities that use marketing data to drive business solutions.
  • Identify and develop new solutions that improve customer outcomes and internal operations.
  • Collaborate with the Research Development and Innovation team to build solutions that drive efficiency, savings, or revenue.
  • Audit existing datasets for accuracy, reliability, and consistency.
  • Work with senior team members to identify data models and algorithms for unique client problems.
  • Use predictive modeling and advanced analysis techniques to improve user experience, revenue generation, ad targeting, and other business outcomes.
  • Coordinate with internal and client data engineering teams to implement models and monitor outcomes.
  • Lead technical projects of varying size and scope, managing scope, schedule, resources, and on-time, on-budget delivery.
  • Oversee junior team members, provide technical and developmental support, and guide best practices in solution development and client relationships.

Requirements

  • College degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or a related field preferred, or successful completion of a code school program combined with data science experience.
  • Advanced skills with SQL and Python for advanced analysis required.
  • Experience with Google BigQuery, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS, or Azure tools as they relate to big data.
  • Machine learning framework experience.
  • Familiarity with how JavaScript is used for websites.
  • Proven ability to solve complex problems with on-time delivery, high quality, and creativity.
  • Experience mentoring and encouraging growth in junior team members.
  • Ability to listen to business needs and creatively develop solutions.
  • Ability to work on a team while managing individual workload priorities.
  • Experience leading fast-paced and flexible technical teams.
  • Strong communication skills for explaining complex technical solutions to clients at all levels.
  • Strong desire to grow as a Data Scientist in a fast-paced company.
