Description

  • Act as the lead domain authority for fund managers, institutional allocators, and OCIOs.
  • Partner with Account Executives to design complex deal structures and multi-year expansion roadmaps.
  • Guide prospects and clients through workflow modernization and demonstrate the value of Addepar’s platform and AI-powered insights.
  • Conduct executive-level discovery to identify business inefficiencies and shape a holistic technical vision.
  • Design and build tailored demo environments and run custom end-to-end proof-of-concepts using client data.
  • Lead technical executive reviews for large existing accounts and identify opportunities to drive incremental ARR.
  • Manage the technical portions of the sales cycle, including POCs, RFPs, RFIs, Statements of Work, and budgetary estimates.
  • Coordinate with Professional Services, Data, Implementation, Support, Finance, Legal, Product, and Engineering teams.
  • Mentor teammates and help establish sales playbooks and standards for demos and technical validation.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in Sales Engineering or Solutions Architecture.
  • Proven success closing high-revenue enterprise deals and navigating global enterprise procurement.
  • Deep domain expertise in investment management and analysis across LPs and GPs.
  • Strong fluency in AI-driven software and modern data ecosystems.
  • Experience discussing technical and business priorities with executives, including C-suite stakeholders.
  • High-level systems design skills and understanding of multi-vendor legacy architectures.
  • Knowledge of modern software architecture, database concepts, and API integration.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills across all levels of an organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; CFA, CFP, or a Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
  • Ability and willingness to travel on short notice 10–20% of the time.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $146,000 to $182,000, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
  • Market-based pay determined by role, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.
