Description

  • Take creative ownership of one or more core client accounts and ensure consistency, quality, and clarity across engagements.
  • Set and maintain creative direction from early concept through execution and remain accountable for the overall creative health of the work.
  • Stay hands-on in conceptual and delivery phases as needed and champion high-level creative execution.
  • Act as a creative point of continuity for assigned client accounts and build trust through thoughtful decision-making.
  • Collaborate closely with Production and Tech to balance ambition, feasibility, and craft.
  • Lead creative work on pitches and new client opportunities and help shape concepts, narratives, and presentations.
  • Represent Active Theory externally as an ambassador through industry events, thought leadership, and public-facing leadership.
  • Lead by example through craft, communication, and collaboration while providing direction and feedback to designers.
  • Contribute to creative standards, systems, and ways of working that scale across the studio.
  • Foster design culture and support department processes and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Ability to work remote in North America or Latin America and align with PST hours.
  • Proven senior-level creative leadership experience with ownership of client accounts or equivalent creative oversight.
  • Strong creative craft and high-level execution skills across concepting and delivery.
  • Deep understanding of the possibilities, limitations, and potential of 2D/3D motion design.
  • Experience collaborating with Production and Tech teams to deliver ambitious but feasible work.
  • Ability to lead pitches, shape strategic narratives, and present ideas to clients.
  • Comfort with mentoring designers and giving feedback that elevates the work.
  • Interest in AI and an AI-native mindset.
  • Experience building influence internally and externally, including public representation or thought leadership (preferred).
