Description

  • Write and ship production AI code daily as an active contributor.
  • Architect stateful, multi-agent AI workflows using LangGraph for enterprise-scale use cases.
  • Own AI observability in LangFuse, including tracing, prompt versioning, evaluation, and benchmarking.
  • Set engineering standards for agent design patterns, RAG, prompt management, context optimization, and tool-calling strategies.
  • Partner with product and platform teams to deliver AI architectures that meet enterprise SLA, security, and compliance requirements.
  • Evaluate and adopt emerging AI tooling, orchestration frameworks, and model providers.
  • Mentor engineers through code reviews, pairing sessions, and design discussions.
  • Represent Acquia’s AI capabilities in customer architectural reviews, technical discovery, and roadmap conversations.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience with 3+ years in production AI/ML or LLM systems.
  • Hands-on expertise with LangGraph, including stateful, cyclic, multi-agent workflows at enterprise scale.
  • Hands-on expertise with LangFuse, including tracing, evaluation, prompt management, and dataset-driven testing.
  • Experience with agent frameworks such as LangChain or similar tools like LlamaIndex or CrewAI.
  • Strong Python proficiency and solid engineering fundamentals, including testing, CI/CD, and architecture.
  • Experience deploying AI solutions in AWS, Azure, or GCP, including containerization and inference cost management.
  • Knowledge of RAG architecture, including vector databases, embedding models, and retrieval strategies.
  • B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • Preferred: experience in enterprise SaaS or CMS environments, including Drupal-based DXP.
  • Preferred: fluency with AI-assisted coding tools such as Copilot, Cursor, or Claude.
  • Preferred: familiarity with persistent agent runtimes such as OpenClaw or Hermes Agent.
  • Preferred: experience with LLM fine-tuning or model evaluation and understanding of foundational model tradeoffs.
  • Preferred: ability to present AI system design to both engineers and C-suite stakeholders.
  • Preferred: senior IC track record with high-quality code and system design.
