Description

  • Provide financial support for shaping, structuring, and closing federal government pricing actions.
  • Review solicitations and develop internal economic models for pricing efforts.
  • Prepare cost and price volumes in compliance with solicitation instructions, FAR requirements, disclosed CAS, agency requirements, GAAP, and AFS policies.
  • Prepare accurate and compliant financial deliverables for proposals and pricing actions.
  • Support proposal teams on financial aspects for management approvals and cost identification.
  • Drive financial modeling to evaluate costing, pricing, client capital financing, and overall profitability.
  • Develop cost and price volumes for federal solicitations, contract modifications, requests for equitable adjustments, and terminations for convenience.
  • Ensure Point of Sale financial information is transitioned to Client Financial Management at project set-up and maintain POS documentation for proposals.
  • Collaborate with clients, Accenture management, Pricing Specialists, and Managers on pricing activities.
  • Participate in efforts to improve training, methodologies, tools, and skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or another comparable business major.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.2 out of 4.0.
  • No previous work experience required.
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and highly motivated.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of basic financial and accounting principles.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Must be a US citizen.
  • 3 months of finance-related work or internship experience preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills, such as Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP/SUMIF functions, preferred.
  • Awareness of federal government contracting and procurement regulations preferred.
  • Understanding of Cost Type, T&M, and Fixed Price contract types preferred.
  • Familiarity with reading and interpreting federal solicitation documents such as RFPs, RFQs, and SOWs preferred.
  • Familiarity with the General Services Administration (GSA) schedules program preferred.
