Description

  • Lead end-to-end CMMC 2.0 assessments, including planning, scoping, scheduling, and delivery.
  • Conduct and oversee assessments aligned to NIST SP 800-171, CMMC Assessment Guides, and DoD requirements.
  • Validate control implementation, review evidence, and document objective findings.
  • Develop and maintain assessment artifacts such as SSPs, POA&Ms, assessment reports, and readiness documentation.
  • Provide authoritative interpretation of CMMC practices, processes, and scoring methodologies.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders during assessment cycles.
  • Communicate assessment status, risks, findings, and recommendations clearly and professionally.
  • Facilitate intake sessions, evidence walkthroughs, and remediation discussions.
  • Lead assessment team members and coordinate across cybersecurity engineers, policy analysts, SMEs, and project leadership.
  • Track progress against milestones and deliverables in alignment with project SoWs.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity compliance, audit, or assessment roles.
  • Experience with CMMC 2.0-related DoD cybersecurity requirements.
  • Experience with one or more of the following standards: NIST SP 800-171 Rev. 2, NIST SP 800-172, and FAR 52.204-21 controls.
  • At least one of the following certifications: CCP, CCA, CISSP, or CISA.
  • Experience conducting or leading cybersecurity assessments such as CMMC, NIST RMF, ISO 27001, or similar.
  • Project management experience such as PMP, SAFe, or similar is preferred.
  • 8140 compliant is preferred.
  • Must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require visa sponsorship in the United States.
