Description

  • Design and deliver platform-level software projects from conception through launch.
  • Build and maintain backend services and APIs that support portal experiences.
  • Develop reusable frontend libraries, design systems, and developer tooling for product teams.
  • Own infrastructure concerns such as CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and observability.
  • Improve frontend performance, accessibility, and quality standards across portal applications.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional partners to execute platform initiatives.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing and raise engineering standards across the team.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience as a software engineer delivering complex, cross-team projects end to end.
  • Deep expertise in React and modern frontend architecture, including state management, performance tuning, build tooling, and design systems.
  • Strong backend experience in Python (Django) or TypeScript, with API and data model design for scale.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure, including AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD, and comfort operating production systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence technical direction through RFCs, architecture decisions, or platform migrations.
  • Experience mentoring engineers through code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
  • Strong communication skills for distributed and async work environments.
  • Proven ability to balance technical debt with feature delivery at the platform level.
  • Strong fundamentals in computer science, data structures, and performance optimization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Applied Sciences, Information Systems, or a related engineering field.
  • Familiarity with the current stack, including AWS, Kubernetes, Python/Django, React, and Postgres, is preferred.
  • Experience with AI development tools, large-scale web frontend applications, front-end build tools, micro-frontend architecture, or web security is preferred.
