Description

  • Design and implement front-end components and user experiences for MetaMask Debit Card interactions across MetaMask clients.
  • Develop scalable backend services and APIs to manage card lifecycle and transaction processing.
  • Integrate card functionality with financial partners, card issuers, payment networks, and compliance systems.
  • Optimize the performance and security of card features for real-time data feeds and high-volume transaction throughput.
  • Build core infrastructure and user-facing features that help users securely manage and use their MetaMask Debit Card within their wallet.

Requirements

  • 3+ years working with mobile-based technologies.
  • 3+ years building websites and/or applications.
  • Experience with React and React Native.
  • Strong knowledge of modern JavaScript, including ES6 and TypeScript.
  • Familiarity with blockchain fundamentals and Web3 integration.
  • Working knowledge of cross-platform and browser compatibility.
  • Experience working with APIs and middleware services.
  • Experience working in an agile development team.
  • Experience developing applications with clean code practices, testing, and coding standards.
  • Understanding of web-based security considerations.
  • Experience with payment processing, card issuing, or fintech products is a bonus.
  • Experience with DeFi protocols and/or digital asset management is a bonus.
  • Knowledge of financial products in the digital space is a bonus.
  • Interest in blockchain technologies and Web3 is a bonus.
  • Basic understanding of cryptography principles is a bonus.
  • Experience working in distributed teams is a bonus.
  • Previous experience working in Web3 is a bonus.
  • Familiarity with the Web3 wallet ecosystem is a bonus.
  • Experience with performance optimization is a bonus.
  • Good verbal and written communication in English.
  • Teamwork, flexibility, and organization.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow technical skills.
  • Ability to balance technical quality with business needs and user experience.
  • Applicants must be willing to undergo background checks including employment, education, and criminal record checks.

  • US base salary range of $130,000 to $187,000, depending on experience and skills.
