Description

  • Work with the Engineering Manager and Product Manager to define the ACT team roadmap.
  • Lead and architect critical software projects from conception through design, implementation, launch, and operations.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members.
  • Collaborate with Technical Program Managers, Product Managers, and Go-To-Market teams to implement, verify, and iterate on customer-driven issues and requests.
  • Raise engineering standards through knowledge sharing and professional development activities.
  • Grow into a tech lead role for the AI Security Mailbox product.
  • Own end-to-end deliverables for parts of the quarterly roadmap and divisional SLAs/SLOs.
  • Architect and own AI-native workflows that reduce team toil and improve leverage.
  • Work across all layers of the stack, including data storage, detection efficacy, backend, and frontend.

Requirements

  • BS degree in Computer Science, Applied Sciences, Information Systems, or a related engineering field.
  • 5+ years of industry experience in backend web development and distributed systems, including designing and building software applications.
  • Experience working independently and collaboratively on a regular basis.
  • Experience working with distributed teams and strong asynchronous, written communication skills.
  • Experience building features and components from scratch and operating them over time.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Python and/or Go.
  • Comfortable using AI tools such as Cursor, Claude, and other AI-native workflows.
  • Growth-oriented and interested in increasing impact and responsibility over time.
  • Experience with the company’s stack, including Python, Go, AWS, Kubernetes, Django, Celery, Kafka, Prometheus, and Postgres/MySQL, is preferred.
  • Frontend framework experience, particularly with React.js, is preferred.
  • Tech lead experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with AWS services and deployment practices is preferred.
  • Startup or cybersecurity experience is preferred.
  • MS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering field is preferred.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $179,800 to $258,500 USD.
  • Eligible for bonus or incentive compensation.
  • Eligible for equity.
  • Comprehensive benefits package.
