Description

  • Maintain development operations, systems, and workflows across Zoho CRM, prospect lists, revenue trackers, and related tools.
  • Create and update accurate donor, prospect, grant, contact, and relationship records.
  • Monitor fundraising pipelines, flag stalled opportunities and deadlines, and maintain the development calendar.
  • Manage grant proposal and funder-reporting processes, including drafting coordination, reviews, feedback, and timely submissions.
  • Prepare donor research and briefing materials for meetings.
  • Coordinate logistics and follow-up for donor cultivation and stewardship events.
  • Process Ignition Grant payments and maintain related compliance documentation with Programs and Operations teams.
  • Partner with Communications to produce fundraising collateral and donor-facing materials.
  • Improve fundraising systems, data quality, and operational processes as the organization grows.
  • Provide administrative and operational support to Development and Operations teams as needed.

Requirements

  • At least 1–2 years of experience in development, nonprofit operations, project management, grants administration, fundraising, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to produce polished materials.
  • Excellent project management, organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, handle sensitive information discreetly, solve problems proactively, and own projects end to end.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and organizational levels in a virtual environment.
  • Comfort learning and using technology platforms, including CRMs such as Zoho, project-management tools such as Asana, Google Workspace, Slack, and productivity tools; direct experience is a plus.
  • Experience supporting fundraising, donor stewardship, or nonprofit administration (preferred).
  • Knowledge of and experience working within the American Jewish community (preferred).
  • Commitment to nonpartisanship, pluralism, collaboration, continuous learning, and strengthening American democracy.
  • Alignment with the organization's action-oriented, collaborative, trustworthy, curious, resolute, and joyful values.

  • Starting salary of $65,000–$75,000 per year, with salary growth over time.
