Description

  • Design and implement scalable, resilient infrastructure solutions on Google Cloud Platform in collaboration with architects and cross-functional teams.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Google Cloud Deployment Manager.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines within the cloud environment and apply DevOps practices.
  • Implement and enforce security controls and compliance requirements, including data privacy regulations such as GDPR and HIPAA.
  • Design, deploy, and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to ensure infrastructure health and availability.
  • Develop, test, and oversee backup and disaster recovery strategies for mission-critical systems.
  • Identify and resolve infrastructure performance bottlenecks and optimize environments for efficiency.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues while supporting delivery teams.
  • Document cloud architecture, configurations, and operational processes.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and developers to align on requirements and deliver solutions.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Strong knowledge of core GCP services, including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, Networking, and IAM.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Google Cloud Deployment Manager.
  • Experience deploying and optimizing Google Cloud data services such as BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Dataflow, Firestore, Cloud Bigtable, Dataproc, and Pub/Sub.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash for automation.
  • Experience managing Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance frameworks such as CIS, GDPR, and HIPAA.
  • GCP Professional Cloud Architect or Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer certification.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
