Description

  • Craft efficient, performant, testable, scalable, secure client code.
  • Provide accurate status tracking, reporting, and estimation using project methods and tools.
  • Gather requirements, validate understanding within the team, and create and maintain documentation.
  • Execute work within the current methodology while upholding quality standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and managers to understand user pain points and iterate on solutions.
  • Take ownership of projects from technical design through successful launch.
  • Contribute to product development work that supports innovation across multiple client industries.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in C / C++.
  • Experience with multithreaded programming.
  • Working experience with network protocols.
  • 3+ years of experience in a Linux environment.
  • 2+ years of experience using containerized environments.
  • Experience engineering software systems of medium-to-large scope and complexity.
  • Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
  • Proficiency with relational databases and SQL.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • 2+ years of experience in WinCC OA (nice to have).
  • 2+ years of experience in Python (nice to have).
  • Familiarity with AI-powered developer tools such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot for design, development, debugging, and productivity enhancement (preferred).
  • Knowledge of source control tools.
  • Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Proficiency in object-oriented programming concepts including inheritance, polymorphism, classes, instances, and properties.
  • Knowledge of protocols such as HTTP and serialization formats such as JSON and XML.
  • Knowledge of document databases.
  • Experience with unit testing.
