Description

  • Build, enhance, and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks and tools for frontend and backend systems.
  • Design, implement, and own automated test cases and execution focusing on critical, high-impact testing activities and coverage.
  • Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines and recommend/implement advanced tooling and automation practices.
  • Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to gather requirements, present features, and ensure solutions address user pain points.
  • Participate in Agile delivery (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and contribute to planning and estimation efforts.
  • Lead code quality activities including code reviews, enforcing coding standards, and mentoring junior engineers.
  • Identify process improvements to increase test coverage, reduce defects, and improve team efficiency; drive proof-of-concept evaluations.
  • Independently drive project delivery within the defined architecture, managing resources, timelines, and stakeholder communication.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software development/QA roles (Senior SDET-level experience).
  • Expertise with Angular (unit testing, UX considerations, Figma collaboration, mono-repo setups, state management with ngRx).
  • Strong Java experience and proven ability to lead design and implementation of automation frameworks using Java and Angular.
  • Experience with API automation and familiarity with Playwright, Cypress, or similar automation frameworks.
  • Experience with AWS services (e.g., Lambda, SQS), containerization, and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
  • Proficient with code repository workflows (GitHub), branching strategies, code review, coding standards, and deployments.
  • Deep knowledge of databases and SQL, with experience performing complex data validation and backend testing.
  • Experience using defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) and a strong track record in bug reporting and resolution.
  • Familiarity with test-driven development (TDD) and strong focus on writing clean, maintainable, testable code.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills (English daily), ability to mentor others and work independently under pressure.
  • Preferred: experience with performance/load testing tools (LoadRunner, JMeter) and a history of leading process improvement initiatives.
