Description

  • Facilitate communication with client stakeholders on project status and recommendations.
  • Develop client code that is performant, testable, scalable, secure, and high quality.
  • Participate in planning and estimation using project methods and tools.
  • Gather requirements and present developed features to clients.
  • Execute complex activities within the current methodology and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and managers to understand user pain points and iterate on solutions.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Mentor others through Communities of Practice or project teams and support technical growth.
  • Independently drive project delivery from conceptualization through deployment.
  • Modernize legacy applications by identifying replacement API endpoints and designing the API layer.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience.
  • Experience working with a legacy application to replace functionality with API endpoints.
  • Experience designing and building API layers, including routing and related architecture considerations.
  • Experience introducing unit testing to existing code.
  • Experience implementing a .NET Core startup structure.
  • Experience handling authentication within the architecture, including OAuth and Azure B2C.
  • Experience guiding and overseeing junior developers.
  • Experience working in a Scrum environment.
  • Derivatives/Options trading domain experience is desired.
