Description

  • Lead the design and implementation of a scalable automation framework for product teams.
  • Evaluate and recommend solutions for complex proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Design teams to define, design, automate, and ship new features.
  • Implement API and end-to-end automation to validate frontend and backend functionality.
  • Perform complex data validation and backend testing using databases and SQL.
  • Ensure code integrity, maintainability, and organization through code reviews and mentoring junior engineers.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices and Test Driven Development (TDD).
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities independently in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software development and test automation.
  • Experience with Angular (unit testing, UX design considerations, Figma, monorepo setups, and state management such as NgRx).
  • Strong Java development experience.
  • Experience with AWS services (e.g., Lambda, SQS).
  • Familiarity with containerization and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proficiency with code repositories and processes (GitHub, branching strategies, code review, deployment practices).
  • Experience with API automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent.
  • Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD).
  • Experience with databases and SQL for complex data validation and backend testing.
  • Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
  • Preferred: experience leading or mentoring other engineers and strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Immediate joiners preferred.
  • Role based in India; remote work arrangement.
