Description

  • Provide technical delivery leadership on client engagements.
  • Lead architectural design sessions with clients.
  • Coach and guide peers during implementation while managing client expectations.
  • Support team upskilling and build confidence in infrastructure delivery.
  • Build relationships across cloud infrastructure, delivery excellence/PMO, and solution architecture teams.
  • Partner with Delivery Excellence/PMO to align milestones to project plans and capture key client decisions.
  • Help the delivery team reach billable targets by removing project blockers.
  • Facilitate change orders and project extensions as needed.
  • Provide technical oversight and direction across practice areas with technical dependencies.
  • Lead and guide multiple engagements to help scale the infrastructure team.
  • Support teammates in unblocking engagements and remediating escalations before they occur.
  • Create reusable artifacts and content that help team members deliver client billable work.

Requirements

  • Extensive technical knowledge of Azure and on-prem enterprise networking, including Azure VPN/ExpressRoute, BGP routing, Azure Firewall, third-party NVAs, routing and segmentation, load balancing, Azure DNS, and third-party network integrations.
  • Broad technical knowledge of Azure technologies, including Log Analytics (KQL), Application Insights, Azure Site Recovery, Azure Backup, Azure Security, Azure Storage, Azure Automation (IaC), App Services, and Containers (AKS).
  • Experience working in environments using carrier circuits such as MPLS, VPLS, and point-to-point, as well as SD-WAN technologies such as Cisco, Meraki, Veptela, VMware, and Velocloud.
  • Experience providing technical delivery oversight on multiple client engagements with strong consultative skills.
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure solutions and implementation using IaC tools such as Bicep or Terraform.
  • Drive to stay current on emerging technologies and their impact on existing offerings.
  • Understanding of cloud ecosystems and leading-edge cloud technologies.
  • Experience with performance analysis, troubleshooting, and remediation techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-starter who can work independently or as part of a virtual project team.
  • AZ-700 Azure Network Engineer certification required.
  • AZ-305 Azure Architect certification highly preferred.
  • Third-party networking certifications such as CCNP, CCNA, Juniper, or Palo Alto highly preferred.
  • Applicants must not require work visa sponsorship.
