Description

  • Architect and ship the next generation of AI systems from prototype to production.
  • Own the technical strategy for AI features while collaborating with product, design, and engineering.
  • Contribute to existing AI features and help expand the AI Squad’s product surface area.
  • Take new AI features from technical design through production launch.
  • Optimize AI systems for real-world constraints such as cost, latency, reliability, and scale.
  • Make architectural decisions as the platform grows from 5 to 10+ AI features.
  • Prototype and ship advanced AI capabilities, including new modalities and real-time collaboration.
  • Serve as a technical authority and mentor for your peer AI Engineer.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience taking GenAI / LLM-powered systems from prototype to long-term production deployment.
  • Strong Python experience with a track record of clean, maintainable production code.
  • Hands-on experience integrating LLMs such as Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, Anthropic, or Mistral.
  • Experience managing production constraints such as token costs, latency, reliability, and hallucinations.
  • Familiarity with search capabilities, RAG, semantic search, and vector databases.
  • Experience with LLM observability tools such as Langfuse or similar.
  • Understanding of model evaluation.
  • Solid grasp of machine learning fundamentals, including evaluation, experimentation, and model lifecycle.
  • Fluent English (US/UK) or B2 level French, or equivalent.
  • Experience with Pydantic AI, FastAPI, Azure OpenAI, and ElasticSearch is a plus.
