Description

  • Design visually cohesive marketing assets across websites, emails, social media, digital ads, brand identity guides, and occasional print layouts.
  • Develop fresh visual concepts that strengthen the distinctiveness of 2U’s product portfolio and associated brands.
  • Maintain consistent visual identities and ensure brand standards are applied across multiple channels.
  • Review creative briefs and past performance data to produce work aligned with marketing stakeholder needs.
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines while ensuring timely delivery of assigned work.
  • Present creative work to stakeholders and explain design decisions with clear, persuasive rationale.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate new ideas and support the creative process.
  • Build collaborative relationships with stakeholders, designers, writers, UX/UI team members, and front-end developers.
  • Mentor junior designers by reviewing work, giving constructive feedback, and supporting their growth.
  • Stay current on industry trends and share best practices, trends, and new technologies with the team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
  • 3–5 years of industry-relevant experience.
  • Expert-level skills in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Proficiency in Figma.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, including composition, typography, and color theory.
  • Familiarity with digital production techniques for web and mobile platforms.
  • Understanding of UX/UI design principles, including wireframing, prototyping, and intuitive interface design.
  • Experience developing and maintaining visual brand identities and style guidelines across marketing materials.
  • Proficiency with an industry-standard project management system.
  • Proficiency in Google Office Suite for communication, documentation, and collaboration.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating breadth of experience and advanced design skills.
  • Experience collaborating with writers, photographers, multimedia talent, and production artists.
  • Knowledge of marketing strategies and the marketing funnel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong conceptual, problem-solving, prioritization, multitasking, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
  • High emotional intelligence and the ability to collaborate effectively in a diverse stakeholder environment.
