Description

  • Conduct brief individual wellness consultations and structured, non-diagnostic intakes.
  • Create and adapt individualized wellness routines aligned with each patient’s psychiatric care plan.
  • Teach approved breathing, mindfulness, grounding, sleep-support, gentle movement, and routine-building practices.
  • Facilitate live virtual groups on stress regulation, emotional wellness, sleep, ADHD-friendly strategies, and daily-life skills.
  • Track patient-reported goals, sleep, stress, mood, and practice adherence.
  • Maintain group safety, privacy, professional boundaries, consent, and trauma-informed participation.
  • Document sessions, patient responses, home-practice plans, attendance, and relevant concerns in approved systems.
  • Communicate clinical or safety concerns to treating psychiatrists or psychiatric nurse practitioners through secure channels.
  • Participate in required supervision, onboarding, training, probationary review, and quality-assurance processes.

Requirements

  • Strong spoken and written English with professional communication skills for U.S.-based adults.
  • Formal training and demonstrated experience in mindfulness, pranayama/breathwork, yoga-informed wellness, health coaching, or a related discipline.
  • Trauma-informed care training and ability to emphasize consent, choice, pacing, autonomy, and emotional safety.
  • Formal health-coaching education or recognized coaching certification; international coaching training preferred.
  • Yoga teacher training or comparable formal yoga/pranayama education preferred.
  • Experience supporting people with anxiety, depression, ADHD, insomnia, stress dysregulation, or trauma-related symptoms.
  • Excellent active listening, rapport-building, group facilitation, cultural humility, reliability, and organization.
  • Comfort using secure patient portals, video platforms, structured documentation, and digital workflows.
  • Remote independent-contractor availability, including overlap with U.S. Pacific Time and approximately 10–20 hours per week initially.
  • Ability to provide a dedicated encrypted device, MFA, private workspace, reliable high-speed internet, privacy-protective audio, and approved HIPAA-compliant systems.
  • Experience in behavioral health, psychiatric, medical, or integrated-care settings; online group facilitation and HIPAA familiarity preferred.
  • Completion of required onboarding and training; initial engagement includes a three-month probationary period.

Benefits

  • Remote independent-contractor arrangement; candidates may be based in India.
  • Flexible schedule based on patient demand and practice needs.
  • Initial workload of approximately 10–20 hours per week, with potential to increase as patient volume grows.
  • Hourly compensation for documented individual sessions and a separate agreed flat rate for live virtual group sessions.
  • The practice manages all payer billing, claims, coverage determinations, and patient/insurer billing.
  • Approximately 2–4 live virtual groups per week, subject to patient volume and program growth.
