Description

  • Lead the global Accounting organization, including technical accounting, financial compliance, external reporting, and global transaction processing.
  • Oversee the external audit process and SEC reporting to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting team with a continuous-improvement mindset.
  • Lead the evaluation, implementation, and integration of ERP enhancements and automation tools to enable a continuous close.
  • Design and implement scalable workflows across the general ledger, payroll, and transaction accounting functions.
  • Improve the control environment by shifting compliance from manual testing to automated, continuous monitoring.
  • Partner with the CFO and business leaders to define and automate key financial metrics and insights.
  • Drive data integrity and embed accounting policies directly into systems and processes.
  • Influence cross-functional partners in IT, Operations, and Sales to adopt new tools and disciplined data practices.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive experience, including significant leadership experience in a high-growth, technology-driven public company.
  • Strong SEC and SOX experience in a public company environment.
  • CPA or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
  • Deep proficiency in US GAAP and the ability to translate technical accounting standards into automated system logic.
  • Ability to explain complex accounting treatments to business partners in a clear, decision-supporting way.
  • Proven success modernizing manual accounting environments through automation.
  • Experience with global manufacturing and complex supply chains, including inventory and ASC 606 revenue recognition.
  • Experience managing international statutory structures is a significant plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently on complex structural problems and deliver under tight timelines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
  • Prior training at a major public accounting firm is preferred.
  • Experience leading a full-scale ERP implementation or major finance transformation project is preferred.
  • Experience in a physical-products environment with depth in cost accounting is preferred.
  • Experience supporting M&A accounting strategy and integrating new entities is preferred.
  • Genuine passion for advancing human health is preferred.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $287,600 to $389,000 USD.
  • Eligible for equity grants.
  • Comprehensive health and retirement benefit programs.
  • Annual bonus program or sales incentive program.
  • Total compensation package may vary based on skills, qualifications, and experience.
