Description

  • Architect technical solutions that directly address and resolve critical customer pain points.
  • Serve as the technical advisor throughout the sales cycle to ensure alignment between Zscaler solutions and customer goals/requirements.
  • Create and deliver technical product presentations that communicate the value proposition of Zscaler products.
  • Gather and document customer technical requirements to validate proposed solutions will meet customer needs.
  • Lead product evaluations, custom product configurations, and run Proof of Value (PoV) engagements from start to finish as the technical and industry expert.
  • Oversee and drive the technical sales process for assigned accounts.
  • Collaborate with and support internal Zscaler teams (sales, product, engineering, etc.) to advance deals and implementations.
  • Promote customer success by translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable plans and recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer or systems integrator.
  • Knowledge of network security technologies.
  • Based in North Carolina, South Carolina, or Atlanta, GA (role is listed as remote-eligible/#LI-remote and part of a hybrid/future-of-work model).
  • Experience running Proof of Value (PoV) engagements, product evaluations, and custom configurations.
  • Industry certifications preferred: CCNP, JNCIP, PCNSA, CISSP, or CCSP.
  • Experience working with large enterprise and major accounts (preferred).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to distill complex technical problems into clear, simple, actionable plans.
