Description

  • Design and implement a multi-region AWS architecture and modular Terraform libraries for automated provisioning.
  • Architect self-healing infrastructure using load balancing, auto-scaling, and Multi-AZ database topologies to maintain high availability.
  • Modernize CI/CD pipelines and implement Blue/Green and Canary deployment strategies for zero-downtime releases.
  • Build SRE dashboards and intelligent alerting frameworks to identify outages or capacity issues before they affect customers.
  • Monitor cloud resource utilization and tune scaling policies to balance performance and cost efficiency.
  • Own the delivery pipeline and operational health of a massive-scale, multi-region distributed system.
  • Bridge Network Engineering and Cloud Operations for public cloud control plane and data plane services.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in Software Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering.
  • BS/MS in Computer Science or a relevant field.
  • Deep mastery of AWS services and experience architecting AWS-managed SQL and NoSQL data stores.
  • Experience designing scalable local and multi-region deployment strategies.
  • Advanced Infrastructure as Code expertise with Terraform.
  • Expert proficiency in Python or Go for automation tooling.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux/BSD internals.
  • Experience with observability stacks such as Prometheus and InfluxDB.
  • Knowledge of security compliance areas including PKI, IAM, and DevSecOps.
  • U.S. citizenship due to the nature of the customers assigned to this role.
  • Experience managing large-scale distributed systems or IoT-style connectivity platforms (preferred).
  • Background in Network Engineering or data plane forwarding technologies (preferred).
  • Experience with Chaos Engineering methodologies in a public cloud environment (preferred).

  • Base salary range of $182,000 to $260,000 USD.
