Description

  • Develop software implementation designs and produce documentation that explains the solution.
  • Create unit tests using test-driven development practices to prove the software works as designed.
  • Build installation packages for customers to install software on workstations and servers.
  • Write source code that satisfies design requirements and unit test expectations.
  • Participate in code reviews and revise code based on review feedback before source control check-in.
  • Contribute effort estimates during software implementation planning sessions.
  • Take part in implementation review sessions and demonstrate completed software to stakeholders.
  • Produce and maintain deliverables such as source code, unit tests, installation packages, and architecture documents.
  • Create supporting technical artifacts including database scheme diagrams, entity relationship diagrams, and sequence diagrams.
  • Manage project information and deliverables in an organized and well-documented manner.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a project lead or team leader in a development environment.
  • 8+ years of overall IT/industry experience.
  • Previous experience developing software products in a product environment.
  • Thorough awareness of industrial-strength software methods and qualities.
  • Strong technical ability and a pragmatic, analytical approach to problem solving.
  • Experience with HTML5, JavaScript, React, CSS3, RESTful APIs, JSON, and data objects.
  • Experience with Large Language Models, Agentic AI, and Machine Learning.
  • Experience with distributed architectures and asynchronous request handling.
  • Experience with design patterns, including MVVM and MVC.
  • Familiarity with modern software development and architectural methodologies.
  • Experience with version control tools such as GIT and SVN.
  • Experience with browser-based software and responsive web design.
  • Master of Science degree in Computer Science preferred.
  • Contract engagement through October 31, 2026, with no guarantee of extension.
