Description

  • Lead daily technical delivery across solution design, implementation, code reviews, debugging, release readiness, and production support.
  • Translate product requirements and architecture direction into bounded designs, service contracts, development tasks, and testable vertical slices.
  • Define standards for component and service boundaries, security, performance, observability, testing, and maintainability.
  • Mentor engineers, provide actionable feedback, and drive technical decisions.
  • Collaborate with Product, Business Analysts, QA, and DevSecOps to demonstrate results early and manage delivery risk.
  • Own technical debt, dependencies, and production troubleshooting across frontend, API, data, and deployment layers.
  • Support reliable collaboration and delivery with distributed teams during South San Francisco/PST hours.

Requirements

  • Strong recent hands-on experience with Angular 17+ and TypeScript, with readiness to work in Angular 19.x; React-only or AngularJS-only experience is insufficient.
  • Proficiency with standalone components, RxJS/signals, state and change detection, typed Reactive Forms, Material/CDK, reusable components, accessibility, performance, and frontend testing.
  • Experience building real-time collaborative interfaces using WebSockets, REST, optimistic concurrency, reconnect and stale-state recovery, conflict handling, notifications, and safe undo.
  • Strong production experience with Python and FastAPI or a comparable framework, including Pydantic-style contracts, SQLAlchemy/ORM, REST design, authentication, and validation.
  • Understanding of asynchronous execution, long-running jobs, progress events, retries, idempotency, cancellation, and failure recovery.
  • Experience with relational data modeling, SQL/PostgreSQL, versioning and audit patterns, AWS, containers/EKS or Kubernetes, S3, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code.
  • Experience with unit, integration, contract, and end-to-end testing; code review, safe refactoring, SonarQube/static-analysis gates, secure dependencies, logs, metrics, and traces.
  • Life sciences, clinical technology, clinical trials, protocol authoring, or regulated scientific product experience is preferred.
  • Exposure to study-design concepts, CDISC, USDM, CDASH, or ODM, and awareness of GxP/CSV, ALCOA+, audit trails, electronic records, traceability, and validated-state change control are preferred.
