Description

  • Collaborate as an individual contributor with peers and feature teams through code reviews, mentorship, and technical alignment.
  • Architect, design, and implement infrastructure as code using Terraform with reusable modules and testing practices.
  • Deploy, manage, and optimize Kubernetes clusters on GCP GKE and AWS EKS, including upgrades, networking, and high availability.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD systems for platform components using tools such as Argo CD and Atlantis.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve platform issues related to performance, scalability, and security.
  • Drive automation to reduce manual operations, improve reliability, and streamline infrastructure provisioning and monitoring.
  • Partner with development teams to understand infrastructure needs and translate them into platform features and roadmaps.
  • Build internal tools and APIs across the full software development lifecycle to improve platform usability and developer productivity.
  • Implement and enforce security best practices, including access control, vulnerability management, encryption, audits, and compliance with SOC 2 and GDPR.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps engineering, or a related role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with GCP, AWS, Kubernetes (GKE/EKS), and Terraform.
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals with proven hands-on coding experience.
  • Demonstrated coding proficiency in Go, TypeScript, or other relevant languages.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Argo CD, Atlantis, or similar technologies.
  • Understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
  • Extensive experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
  • Knowledge of security best practices for cloud environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote and distributed team environment.
  • Prior experience working specifically on platform engineering projects.
