Description

  • Collaborate as an individual contributor through code reviews, mentorship, and alignment on technical direction.
  • Architect, design, and implement infrastructure as code using Terraform.
  • Deploy, manage, and optimize Kubernetes clusters on GCP/GKE and AWS/EKS.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve CI/CD systems for platform components.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve platform issues, including performance, scalability, and security concerns.
  • Build automation to reduce manual operational work and improve system reliability.
  • Partner with feature teams to understand infrastructure and developer experience needs.
  • Develop internal platform tools, APIs, and services across the software development lifecycle.
  • Implement security best practices and help ensure compliance with standards such as SOC 2 and GDPR.
  • Conduct security audits, penetration testing, and post-mortem analyses when needed.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps engineering, or a related role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with GCP and AWS.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, including GKE and EKS.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Terraform.
  • Proven software engineering fundamentals and coding proficiency in Go, TypeScript, or another relevant language.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Argo CD, Atlantis, or similar technologies.
  • Understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
  • Knowledge of cloud security best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team environment.
  • Self-organized, goal-oriented, and self-motivated.
  • Prior experience working on platform engineering projects.
