Description

  • Develop functional and non-functional requirements for new software solutions and enhancements to existing applications.
  • Provide input to estimates and support project planning activities.
  • Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements, validate designs, and build consensus on business architecture decisions.
  • Coach and mentor associates, junior business architects, and project team members while enforcing standards.
  • Develop detailed process models and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
  • Lead business process improvement initiatives through the integration of technology solutions.
  • Lead teams of analysts on larger-scale initiatives by setting standards, defining analytics metrics, and facilitating requirements sessions and delivery.
  • Support projects in a scrum master, project manager, or quality assurance capacity when needed.
  • Work with business users and stakeholders to solve business issues and identify improved business solutions.

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of equivalent work experience as an established business architect.
  • Strong understanding of business process modeling and enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and Zachman.
  • Experience with business process modeling tools such as BPMN and UML.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.
  • Solid understanding of PMBOK, Agile, Traditional, and Scrum methodologies and frameworks.
  • Experience working on Agile projects.
  • Flexibility to work across different assignments, industries, team sizes, scopes, locations, and engagement lengths.
  • Professional certifications such as TOGAF, Certified Business Architect (CBA), CCBA, CBAP, or similar preferred.
  • Continuous professional development through certifications, training, or industry conferences is expected.
