Description

  • Design, build, and deliver end-to-end data and analytics solutions for enterprise clients.
  • Discuss modern data and analytics best practices and strategies with clients.
  • Integrate data sources to build models and reports for business users.
  • Configure and operationalize cloud infrastructure in Azure.
  • Advise clients on Microsoft’s cloud data strategy and roadmap.
  • Stay current on Microsoft technologies and modern data platform best practices.
  • Collaborate with clients to identify and address their business needs.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to deliver client projects.
  • Drive implementation of data analytics solution architectures.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering and modeling.
  • Experience with Azure data engineering and modern data platform technologies, including Azure Analysis Services, Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Warehouse, and Azure Data Factory.
  • Ability to design end-to-end data analytics solution architecture and drive implementation.
  • Strong understanding of Agile engineering practices.
  • Experience with data warehousing, ETL/ELT, and data modeling (Dimensional/Kimball).
  • Experience with T-SQL, SQL Server/Azure SQL, and Azure Data Lake Store.
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory or strong SSIS experience.
  • Experience with Azure Analysis Services or SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) Tabular.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and continuous integration/continuous delivery.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, troubleshooting ability, and ability to work independently and adapt to client environments.
  • Consulting experience is preferred.
  • Preferred experience with Azure Synapse, Power BI/DAX, Databricks, Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure AD, Data Vault, Python, Spark/HDInsight, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, and related tools.
