Description

  • Respond to level two issues and escalations from the Network Operations Center and service desk.
  • React to and resolve cases submitted by users or automatically alerted by monitoring tools.
  • Troubleshoot advanced Microsoft 365 issues and provide solution options and recommendations.
  • Proactively assess clients' Microsoft 365 environments and identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
  • Escalate issues within the Microsoft 365 tenant environment as needed.
  • Assist team members with case resolution within the scope of your skillset.
  • Gather information and prepare reporting for clients or Client Success Managers.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and peers across the Managed Services practice.
  • Develop, maintain, and update technical knowledge base articles.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation and work after hours or weekends when required.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of technical support and/or design and implementation experience with Microsoft 365 collaboration technologies for a Managed Services Provider.
  • Experience with Entra ID, including Conditional Access Policies, MFA, and Privileged Identity Management.
  • Experience with Microsoft Defender, including Endpoint, policies, XDR, Cloud workload protections, and DLP policies.
  • Experience with Microsoft Exchange Online, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Management, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft OneDrive for Business.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 cloud solutions and Microsoft 365 management and administration.
  • Scripting experience for automation, such as PowerShell or VBScript.
  • At least one of the following certifications: MS-102, SC-200, SC-300, or SC-900.
  • Preferred: 3+ years in a Microsoft environment including M365.
  • Preferred: Experience with on-premises Microsoft technologies such as Exchange 2019+, SharePoint on-premises, and SharePoint Framework.
  • Preferred: Intermediate understanding of Active Directory and Group Policy.
  • Preferred: Understanding of Microsoft Sentinel.
  • Preferred: Experience working for an MSP, with ServiceNow, or with monitoring tools such as LogicMonitor.
