Description

  • Own data engineering efforts for the User Platform (CDP) and Recommendation Engine.
  • Ensure data accuracy, performance, alignment, and security across data pipelines.
  • Build and maintain pipelines connecting Snowflake, Postgres, Kafka, and API Gateway services.
  • Collaborate with ML engineers, backend teams, and business stakeholders on data solutions.
  • Develop reliable data systems that support insights, automation, and machine learning use cases.
  • Lead data governance best practices across the organization.
  • Translate technical data needs between engineering and business stakeholders.
  • Balance delivery speed with system reliability in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 3-8 years of experience in Data Engineering with data governance responsibilities.
  • Strong SQL and Python skills.
  • Proven experience building ETL/ELT pipelines at scale.
  • Understanding of Snowflake performance tuning, query optimization, and warehouse orchestration.
  • Understanding of data modeling approaches such as Kimball, Data Vault, or hybrid models.
  • Familiarity with API-based data integration and microservice architectures.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication skills.
  • Hands-on problem-solving mindset with the ability to balance velocity and reliability.
