Description

  • Use proprietary software to label, annotate, record, and input data for multilingual audio projects.
  • Curate high-quality audio data to support clear, natural spoken output and accurate handling of linguistic and prosodic details.
  • Collaborate with technical staff to develop tasks that improve speech modulation, accent variation, noise handling, and multilingual audio processing.
  • Work with technical staff to improve annotation tools and audio workflows for greater efficiency.
  • Provide high-quality voice recordings and feedback on audio samples in multiple languages.
  • Evaluate speech accuracy, pronunciation, intonation, rhythm, accent, and audio quality across varied and noisy recordings.
  • Make independent judgments on ambiguous audio material and deliver consistent annotation decisions.

Requirements

  • Native proficiency in Danish with exposure to diverse accents, dialects, or regional variations.
  • English proficiency at minimum B2 level with clear, natural vocal delivery and pronunciation suitable for audio recording.
  • Strong auditory perception to identify nuances in speech, accents, pronunciation, intonation, and audio quality across languages.
  • Demonstrated ability to transcribe audio with high accuracy across accents and varying audio quality.
  • Strong comprehension skills and the ability to make independent judgments on ambiguous or varied audio material.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, detail-oriented, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with speech/audio datasets, annotation workflows, or AI training data is preferred.
  • Background in linguistics, speech sciences, cognitive science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
  • Professional experience in voice work, such as voice acting, voice recording, or podcasting, is preferred.
  • Portfolio of voice samples, annotated transcripts, or other audio-related work is strongly preferred for advanced candidates.
  • Must be able to work remotely from a legally eligible location worldwide; visa sponsorship is not provided.
  • For personal-device work, a Chromebook, Mac with macOS 11.0 or later, or Windows 10 or later is required.

Benefits

  • $35/hour to $45/hour for US-based candidates, depending on experience, skills, education, location, and qualifications.
  • Compensation details for international candidates are shared during the recruitment process.
  • Eligible U.S.-based positions include health insurance.
  • Eligible U.S.-based positions include a 401(k) plan.
  • Eligible U.S.-based positions include paid sick leave.
  • Tutor roles may be full-time, part-time, or contractor positions depending on role needs and candidate fit.
  • Contractor roles offer full flexibility to set your own hours, with hours varying based on project scope and availability.
