Description

  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and exploratory insights.
  • Apply statistical methods and machine learning techniques to solve business problems and forecast outcomes.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand goals and translate them into data initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards that deliver clear, actionable insights.
  • Work with data engineering and technical teams to automate and operationalize models.
  • Provide data-informed recommendations to improve product features, engagement, and member experience.
  • Monitor key metrics and performance indicators to inform business strategy.
  • Collaborate with senior BI team members and cross-functional stakeholders on business performance analysis and growth strategies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, data-informed decision-making, or strategy.
  • Proven ability to extract, manipulate, and transform large datasets using Python and/or SQL.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools and techniques, including Tableau.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in data science, finance, statistics, economics, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for translating complex data into clear insights for non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, consultative approach.
  • Experience with statistical experiment design and testing, including inferential statistics.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience or familiarity with financial services, digital publishing, or subscription products is preferred.
  • Proficiency with ML/AI techniques, including predictive models, is a plus.
  • Experience with web analytics platforms like Google Analytics is a plus.
  • Experience with Jira, project management tools, and Git-based workflows is preferred.
